Who can believe the end of October has come (and gone…ahem) already? Yikes…not me! Except I love Thanksgiving and Christmas, so November is met with raucous enthusiasm around here because my husband only glowers a little bit when I play Christmas music and put up the stockings.
Thank you for joining me for these 31 days of loving motherhood more! I’m thrilled you’ve stopped by for a visit, whether you’ve been here all month or you’ve just popped in for the first time today! I have additional plans for this site, some things I’m really passionate about, and I hope you’ll stick around.
To celebrate the end of this series, I want to give one lucky reader one of my favorite things – a piece of mama jewelry from Melody Joy Designs! I’ve loved Melody’s work for a long time and have had a nest ring with each new addition to our family. I even had the pleasure of chatting with her a month ago at The Influence Conference, and she’s the most whimsically sweet, hard-working lady. Her pieces make beautiful gifts, too – pretty handy since the gift-giving season is almost upon us!
You can check out Melody’s jewelry here, and once the winner has been chosen, we can coordinate on the details so you get to choose the piece you want and can specify the customizations.

Right now, I feel most comfortable with my relationship with the kids’ teachers and getting their help with all the issues we have.

I feel most confident in living as an example in health. Getting to the gym, eating healthy foods. I want my kids to see that. (If only I was as confident about my godly example. I’m working on it)

I am most comfortable in pointing my children to Jesus and the bible when there are unanswerable questions such as, “Why did I have to break my arm?”

I am most confident is providing health for my kids. We eat healthy, play healthy, use EO’s, etc. We may not always be healthy, but I love providing healthy options/choices for my kids so that they can mostly feel healthy and it’s one way I can show them how much I love them.

I feel secure knowing that I am making the most of quality time spent as a family – it was a priority for me as I balance working from home and being a mother and partner and keeping a household functioning, but I am happy with the way we have prioritised each other.
